Curriculum, authentic assessments, and performance proficiencies are an important part of LCFAA.  Each student must 'master' the criteria of each master class or ensemble before advancing to the next level.  Curriculum will be provided for each student to have the knowledge of what will be expected and what the goals/objectives are of each master class or ensemble they participate in.  Authentic assessments will be vital to help each student and instructor ensure that development is taking place.  Performance proficiencies (recitals, small group/large group performances or presentations) will give each student a chance to showcase their development.  LCFAA holds a very high standard of achievement for each student.  The goals/objectives of LCFAA, along with the goals/objectives of each student, will be identified at the start of each master class or ensemble and instruction will be based upon meeting those goals/objectices.
